We have a vacancy that’s opened up within our transport division and we are currently seeking to employ an experienced HGV Rigid (Class 2) Driver to join the team.

As part of the role you will be responsible for the servicing of wheeled bins and REL skips so experience with the waste industry is preferred, but not essential. Successful applicants will be based at our Tonbridge depot and required to work Monday to Friday morning/afternoon shifts and every other Saturday morning.

As part of the Equinox driving team you will be at the forefront of our company so it is essential that you are fit, reliable, trustworthy and above all, committed to delivering the highest level of service to our customers. You must hold either a Cat C or C1 driving licence and be up to date with transport law regarding driving hours and tachograph operation. You must also hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card and CPC Card.

Introducing New Staff Member – Kayleigh Holness

Over the last 12 months Equinox Recycling has enjoyed a period of remarkable growth which has led to a growing number of employees and customers. As always, we are committed to providing our customers with the best possible service, so in order to maintain our current high standards and services, we have invested in a new IT system and welcomed a new staff member.

Kayleigh Holness is the newest recruit to our team here at Equinox Recycling. Kayleigh joined us at the beginning of January and will be heading up our accounts department, as well as providing administrative support to other staff members. She will be overseeing both purchase and sales ledger and is available in the office on weekdays between the hours of 10am-2pm.

Prior to her employment with us, Kayleigh was Site Manager at a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) in Folkestone, Kent. Her role here involved managing the reception of non-hazardous waste, overseeing the movement, sorting and storage of waste, controlling the environmental impact of work activities and organising the transfer of outputs and disposal of residues from recovery operations.

She also completed an IOSH Managing Safely course and a WAMITAB Level 4 Materials Recovery Facilities qualification.

Her years of experience within the waste and recycling industry and her extensive knowledge of transport and operations will enable her to provide the best possible advice, service and solutions to our customers and suppliers. She is also able to support the other departments within Equinox Recycling and will form an integral part of the team as the company continues to grow
